About The Position
The position involves assessing the overall health of the Nuclear Deterrence Mission (NNDM) through end-to-end assessments, identifying trends, evaluating risks, and assessing the effectiveness of mitigation measures and corrective actions. The role includes overseeing and standardizing assessments of the readiness and sustainability of the NNDM, serving as a liaison between the NNDM Oversight Office and various commands, and acting as the primary assistant to the Director of the Naval Nuclear Weapons Program. Additionally, the position requires leading the NNDM Oversight Office efforts, monitoring staff performance, and overseeing contractor support budgets.
