MDW is seeking Future Hire candidates to provide Program Analyst for Industry Engagement support to our Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development & Acquisition (ASN/RD&A) client. The Program Analyst for Industry Engagement must be capable of applying extensive professional knowledge, skills, training, and experience to support the ASN(RD&A) organization. This position will provide industry engagement analysis and support across the ASN(RD&A) enterprise. This position is located onsite at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA. The Program Analyst for Industry Engagement will support the ASN(RD&A) with Strategic Communications and Industry Engagement support. The Program Analyst may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties: Maintain the ASN (RD&A) central repository for industry engagement. Manage user access and permissions, ensuring that content within the central repository adheres to standards established in the DON Industry Engagement Handbook. Maintain accurate and up-to-date historical records of industry engagements, and manage updates to all central repository utilities and support files. Create and maintain an industry engagement dashboard that tracks past and upcoming industry engagements, designated subject matter experts (SMEs), senior DON principals, pre-brief requirements, and other relevant information (should include workflow automation to facilitate the end-to-end process for industry engagements); and utilize Navy IT tools accessible through Advana and Jupiter portals to integrate the industry engagement dashboard with the ASN (RD&A) metrics dashboard. Support and coordinate annual updates to DON Industry Engagement Handbook and Playbook (IEHP) - Assist in the review and revision of the IEHP; collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with evolving DoD and DON principals strategic messaging and industry engagement plans; update key appendices as needed to reflect new guidance or changes in procedures; and coordinate approval and dissemination of updated materials across relevant offices.

  • Maintain the ASN (RD&A) central repository for industry engagement.

  • Familiarity with the processes and requirements for organizing and documenting industry engagements.
  • Proven track record in project management, including managing complex multistakeholder tasks and deliverables.
  • Proficiency in tracking and closing action items and taskers using platforms such as the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) - the DON Correspondence and Tracking System.
  • Experience in conducting open-source research on companies, including the ability to interpret financial reports, press releases, and other business documentation.
  • Familiarity with Navy IT tools, including Advana and Jupiter portals, to develop and maintain dashboards.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior DON leadership and external partners in the defense industrial base.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing industry engagement activities for the DoD or DON, including coordinating with high-level stakeholders.
  • Candidates for this position must be eligible to obtain a US DoD Secret Clearance (required U.S. citizenship)
  • Experience working in an Echelon 1 organization (the highest organizational levels within the U.S. Navy) and working with Senior Executive Service Civilians, and Flag Officers/General Officers is highly recommended.
