About The Position

SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Program Analyst to support multiple projects providing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data development and standardization support to the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) in California, Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Oversee and manage operational aspects of the projects including coordinating project schedules, source data review and organization, attend and compile notes in team and customer meetings, and compile and finalize status reports, work schedules, technical documents, and other report deliverables. The candidate will assist the project manager and technical leads in coordinating and documenting tasking, capturing day to day accomplishments for reports, and identifying operational efficiencies for a team of analysts. The candidate will work in a team environment, must have strong oral and written communication skills, and demonstrate initiative and attention to detail when completing project tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
  • No active clearance required; US Citizenship required.
  • Strong experience in project analyst duties such as taking notes and creating meeting minutes for internal and customer meetings, compiling information from multiple people into complete and well-formatted documents, and monitoring and updating work and deliverable schedules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products used for project analyst responsibilities including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Experience with tracking financials and budgets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior personnel.
  • Ability to multitask and support multiple analyst and team leads across several projects.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, requiring frequent interaction with project teams, customers, and subcontractors.
