Join Virginia Housing and help make a difference as a Program Analyst. This important role will work within the Community Outreach Division. This role will formulate and define the scope and requirements for the Housing Choice Voucher Program projects and systems enhancements. The role will devise and modify procedures and processes in answer to complex business problems considering application functionality, staff resources, and business needs of internal and external customers. The incumbent will participate as part of the divisional team to support systems use, test functionality changes, create user training documentation and document and map processes.   • Formulate and define the scope and requirements for the Housing Choice Voucher Program projects and systems enhancements.
  • Devise and modify procedures and processes in response to complex business problems.
  • Support systems use and test functionality changes.
  • Create user training documentation.
  • Document and map processes.
  • Several years performing in a business or functional analyst capacity.
  • B.S. Degree in Business Administration or quantitative field, Information Services or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of technology products and processes; experience in the strategic use of technology in managing and growing a business.
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to business users.
  • Solid understanding of the software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management.
  • Experience working with systems required to operate in the Housing Choice Voucher Program such as Elite, and other related HUD systems.
