About The Position

As a Program Analyst, you will support the continued development of a maritime industrial base. You will support analyses on supply chains of critical weapon systems to provide recommendations for optimization. You will collaborate directly with suppliers and the U.S. Navy to implement changes and monitor progress while identifying further risks to production schedules and quality. You will support other cross-functional teams in this area performing similar work. You will develop plans and assessments to help critical suppliers increase production of critical parts to support Navy systems. You will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders around the world to work collaboratively to improve communication and workflow. You thrive on supporting a winning team and are eager to develop your acquisition, program management, and logistics expertise. You have a direct finger on the pulse of the policies, guidelines, and procedures required to ensure quality and cost control across a Navy major program office.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with logistics policy, supply chain or process improvement planning, and project management.
  • Experience leading or supporting cross-functional teams in supply chain optimization, risk mitigation, or strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Experience with DoD sustainment, logistics, or production, including active duty and NAVSEA Program Office support.
  • Ability to travel to supplier sites up to 30% of the time.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with program management of major ACAT programs.
  • Experience with data analysis to support supplier evaluations and risk modeling.
  • Knowledge of production, supply chain, and industrial base concepts for defense programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technology field.
  • PMP or DAWIA Certification.
