About The Position

The Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a passionate individual for the role of Program Analyst 1. This position is ideal for those who are committed to ensuring the health and safety of Pennsylvania's residents and the environment. As a Program Analyst, you will assess and evaluate initiatives related to Mining Programs, providing essential information to policymakers for effective program planning and resource allocation. This is a full-time role with a work schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and offers the possibility of part-time telework from an approved location within Pennsylvania.

Requirements

  • One year of paraprofessional analytical experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Must meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate initiatives and projects related to Mining Programs.
  • Deliver precise information to policymakers and decision-makers.
  • Support effective program planning, enhancement, oversight, and resource allocation.
