About The Position

Transportation Services is an empowered team of professionals dedicated to providing efficient, dynamic and innovative fleet, parking and transit services to the community. We support the teaching, research and public service mission of Texas A&M University, with focus on customer service and communication. This position maintains parking lot entrances and provides parking guidance to customers during campus events throughout the year including all scheduled A&M home football games.

Requirements

• High School graduation or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be friendly, courteous, and have strong people and verbal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions
• Must be able to work all A&M home football games.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Cashiering- Cashiers lots on special events (Football, Ring Day, Basketball, Graduations, etc.) by taking appropriate ticket or cash for their assigned lot and letting customers enter appropriate lot.
• Customer Service- Answers questions from customers in relation to where to park on special events parking days.
