Provides resource support to staff and program participants to facilitate agency and program goals. The Program Aid plans meals, purchases food, assists program participants in preparing healthy eating choices, supervises cleanup of kitchen & dining area and provides other program activity support including driving participants to appointments. Maintains good relationships with Department of Health and local food banks. Health and safety are of primary importance Program Aid acts as a peer mentor and provides social model recovery activities. NOTE : Employees will be required to have a TB test, fingerprinted, and will be subject to clearance by the Department of Justice and screened for fitness for duty.
