About The Position

The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties in Duncannon, PA is seeking to hire a full-time entry-level Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care for the individuals we serve with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will earn a competitive wage of $16.67/hour plus an additional $1/hour shift differential. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Support people with disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as household maintenance, transportation, administration of medications, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and personal care.
• Build strong relationships with individuals by learning their individual differences in ability, personality, interests, learning, motivation, likes, and dislikes.
