The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Administrator is a key member of the education leadership team and assists the Program Director in the administration of all aspects of the program, in accordance with Accreditation Council for Medical Education (ACGME) requirements. The GME Program Administrator assumes a pivotal role in communicating with the teaching faculty, residents, specialty boards, hospital stakeholders, and division GME leadership, and becomes an integral part of the community of program administrators, GME directors, and senior GME leadership. The GME Program Administrator will work with limited supervision as they oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, and in close collaboration with/under supervision of the Program Director and Administrative Director of GME at the facility.
