The Cardiothoracic Surgery Education Program Administrator provides program operational and administrative support to the CT surgery integrated residency and fellowship programs. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations, administration, and management of the programs, working under the general direction of the faculty Residency and Fellowship Program Directors and Associate Program Directors. The programs include the Cardiothoracic Integrated Residency Program, Cardiothoracic Fellowship Program, Cardiothoracic Transplant Fellowship, and Adult Cardiothoracic Fellowship. The successful candidate will have knowledge of residency training programs and will quickly gain knowledge of the UW GME system, understanding the differences and similarities between ACGME and non-ACGME programs. This position reports to the Surgery Education Division Administrator and interacts with the Division Administrator for Cardiothoracic Surgery in a matrixed capacity.
