Requirements

  • Basic bookkeeping doesn’t faze you; you’re a pro at meeting deadlines.
  • MS Word and Excel are your trusted allies.
  • Understanding the military lifestyle is your advantage.
  • Thriving under pressure, collaborating with diverse teams, and engaging with the community are your strengths.
  • You don’t mind a mix of desk work, and occasional light housekeeping – because variety keeps it interesting!
  • A valid driver’s license and a pristine driving record are in your possession.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate seamlessly with our exceptional team, ensuring program needs are met, sometimes even filling in for a program lead.
  • Serve as the knowledgeable go to for program information and referrals.
  • Keep our member data and reference systems organized and up to date.
  • Provide program reporting, correspondence, and statistics with precision.
  • Ensure the office is well organized and supplied.
  • Help coordinate family and special events that leave lasting memories.
  • Handle phone calls, emails and inquiries like the welcoming and friendly pro you are.
  • Arrange for repairs and maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Manage income and expenses diligently, with accuracy being your middle name.
  • Keep the petty cash in perfect balance.
  • Prepare bank deposits and maintain financial records and order.
  • Assist with donor files and acknowledgements.
  • Inspire, recruit and train volunteers – they’re the heart of our organization.
  • Maintain volunteer records and track their invaluable contributions.
  • Be ready for any exciting tasks assigned by the Branch Director or the Executive Director. Variety is our spice of life!
