About The Position

The Program Administration QIDP at The Arc Erie County NY is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and billing services related to individualized program planning and Life Plans for individuals with disabilities. This role ensures compliance with state regulations, provides training, and maintains communication with families and support teams to ensure quality service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in human services, sociology, special education, rehabilitation, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• One year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or related developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of community supports available for individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on habilitation supports/programs and waiver services.
• Ability to interpret and implement OPWDD regulations and Mental Hygiene Laws.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality assurance and billing services for individualized program planning and Life Plans.
• Ensure compliance with OPWDD and OMIG regulations regarding Life Plans and Staff Action Plans.
• Communicate regularly with individuals supported, families, and care coordination to ensure service quality and consistency.
• Assist in training management on staff action plans and monitor their implementation.
• Monitor and track individual Life Plans and Staff Action Plans for accuracy and completion.
• Develop, implement, and monitor goals for individuals, revising as necessary based on progress.
• Conduct visits to program areas to observe plan implementation and ensure quality service delivery.
• Review monthly progress notes for compliance with OPWDD funding requirements.
