About The Position
As a Profit Center Manager, you will plan, direct, and lead all business operations at the Profit Center. This role is accountable for sustaining consistent profitability of the business. You will achieve sales, gross profit, market share, and profit sharing goals through the recruitment, development, training, coaching, evaluation, and management of the Profit Center team. Setting clear performance expectations and goals for teammates, you will conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide feedback and development. You will determine targeted customer account potential, establish sales goals for those accounts, and hold salespeople accountable for achieving those goals. Achieving upper quartile performance in key indicators such as Gross Profit %, Net Salaries Ratio, Occupancy Ratio, Return on Investment, Gross Profit per Employee, and Profit Sharing per Employee is essential. You will analyze available financial reports and information, implementing appropriate strategies to increase sales and margins, improve productivity, and manage expenses and assets. Ensuring the Profit Center meets or exceeds customer service expectations and building relationships in the community to understand the marketplace, increase market share, and identify new markets are also key responsibilities. You will conduct all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures, maintain a safe working environment, safeguard and maintain all Profit Center assets, and successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs.
