Versatex Building Products, a leader in cellular PVC trim products, is actively seeking a Profile/Extrusion Operator to join our team in Aliquippa, PA. This position is essential to our manufacturing process, where we produce high-quality PVC trimboard products and accessories that are distributed throughout the United States and parts of Canada. The successful candidate will work in a state-of-the-art facility and will be part of a positive and friendly culture that values hard work and recognizes the importance of work/family balance. The Profile/Extrusion Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Profile Extrusion Line, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of the extrusion process, as well as the ability to diagnose and fix minor issues that may arise during production. The operator will be expected to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, and to follow detailed written and oral instructions. This position operates on a 2-2-3 shift schedule, which includes both day and night shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am). The operator must be willing and able to work flexible shifts as needed to meet production demands. The role involves standing for long periods, walking on a cement foundation, and using ladders, as well as lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Personal protective equipment is required in certain areas of the plant to ensure safety during operations.
