The Department of Anesthesiology at The University of Wisconsin is recruiting a general/Adult Multispecialty anesthesiologist, Professor (CHS), primarily to provide clinical anesthesia care with teaching opportunities to medical students, residents, and fellows. Major teaching responsibilities for medical students, residents, and fellows in the operating room, and didactic sessions. Primary emphasis of teaching will be in general anesthesia procedures and techniques, or in area of subspecialty training. Provision of clinical anesthetic care to surgical patients (i.e. working in the operating room, plus evening and weekend call) in an anesthesia team model or personally performed anesthesia. Opportunity for participation in clinical research for interested candidates.
