About The Position
The University of Chicago is seeking a Professor of Practice in the Arts (open rank) with a focus on Animation. This position is expected to begin on July 1, 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching four courses per year in film production and/or media arts and design programs, while also maintaining an active creative agenda and fulfilling service duties such as advising BA thesis projects and serving on committees.
