About The Position
The University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine is seeking qualified applicants for In-Residence and Adjunct faculty positions within the Division of Clinical Sciences. These positions are open rank, allowing for appointments at the levels of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience. The selected candidates will receive an academic appointment in a department within the School of Medicine that aligns with their research focus. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in medical education and clinical research, as these roles will involve significant teaching responsibilities for students and residents. The successful candidates will be expected to engage in teaching, advising students pursuing education and research in health professions, and participating in research and scholarly activities. A commitment to the education of medical students and residents is essential, as is involvement in both University and public service. Candidates with experience in curricular development and clinical skills assessment are preferred, as these skills will enhance the educational offerings at UCR. The positions provide excellent opportunities for career advancement in academic medicine, with dedicated time for both teaching and research. The salary for these positions is competitive, with a base salary range of $127,000 to $333,700, and includes eligibility for additional compensation through the health sciences compensation plan.
