The Division of Hematology, Hematology Stem Cell Therapy Program has an opening for a full-time Associate or Professor-level position as Director of Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation. The Division of Hematology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Board certified or board eligible hematologist and/or oncologist to fill this position. The new faculty member would be joining an established group of 15 malignant hematologists and 8 classical hematologists treating a broad array of diseases in hematology. The Transplant Director would have both inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities, with abundant research and educational opportunities. They would be charged with leading a growing clinical program with over 150 transplantations a year, with an expectation to grow the clinical, research and educational programs. This would involve a close working relationship with the Cellular Therapies program, leveraging resources within the Gates Biomanufacturing facility, and working with the Division’s successful and highly efficient Clinical Trials Unit. There are extensive resources and opportunities for basic science, translational, and clinical research on campus in hematology and through cross-divisional networking. The Division is fully committed to the clinical and academic success of the new faculty member. The individual would become part of a fantastic group of academic clinicians establishing the University of Colorado as a center of excellence in hematology.
