About The Position
SUNY Morrisville seeks Professional Tutors to support our Tutoring Center! Common focuses of tutoring support include composition/writing, math, biology, nursing, and other subjects taught on campus. Primary Responsibilities: Tutoring students one-on-one or in small groups. Tutoring usually occurs in person but may also occur virtually if needed. Keeping records of tutoring sessions Participating in staff meetings and ongoing tutor training
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Teams/Outlook/Word/Excel/Ppt)
Nice To Haves
- Master's or higher education level, preferable in field of focus or education
- Experience teaching or tutoring at the post-secondary level
