About The Position

Molloy's Tutoring Services tutors provide students with individualized assistance for course content and assignments. Professional Tutors lead one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree and/or prior college-level teaching is preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with students to help them understand key concepts of college-level introductory to advanced courses.
• Reviewing syllabi topics and assignments with the student/s.
• Assist students with homework, test preparation, and other academic tasks.
• Assist students in improving their academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions.
• Develop and distribute teaching materials to supplement classroom lessons, including study guides.
• Providing students with positive and constructive feedback.
• Expertise in teaching at the college level would complement this role.
