About the position

The Talent Development Program (TDP) at Cemex USA is a 12-month initiative designed for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the company's operations. Participants will rotate through various roles within the Cement division, focusing on safety, skill development, and innovation while preparing for future career opportunities within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety standards are met or exceeded across all operations.
• Participate in a structured rotational program covering different facets of Cement operations.
• Develop both technical and transferable soft skills through hands-on work and training sessions.
• Build a network of contacts and resources across the company.
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve Cement operations.

Requirements

• Recent bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic/Manufacturing Engineering, Mining/Materials Science Engineering, or a related field.
• GPA of 2.5 or above, with a preference for those with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in analytical and presentation skills.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in the heavy or manufacturing industry, including internships or co-op programs.
