CG4 is a 32-bed cardiac/med-surg unit with all private rooms. We care for a wide variety of patients on our unit, specializing in heart failure but also seeing a range of other diagnoses and a respiratory component. CG4 is a high energy, fast-paced floor that collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, and Nursing Support Staff with varying levels of experience. Being a Cardiac-focused unit, we also work closely with the CHF Hospitalists who are present on the unit daily. As a nurse on CG4, you will be responsible for monitoring, assessing and implementing individualized care plans while also educating patients and families throughout their stay. Growth and development are essential to the CG4 team. As a support to our newly graduated nurses, you will be enrolled attend a 10-month Nurse Residency Program that helps support new nurses during their first year.
