About the position

As a Professional Services Consultant, you will be responsible for meeting the requirements of Enterprise clients by providing and deploying technical architectures that maximize the value of NetApp solutions. This role involves collaborating closely with the sales team to present tailored solutions to customers, requiring strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect major components of technical solutions.
  • Manage tasks and personnel for implementation efforts.
  • Write detailed Statements of Work for client engagements.
  • Engage with sales teams to scope service deliverables and translate business issues into NetApp solutions.
  • Project manage consulting engagements and deliver on consulting tasks such as installation and configuration of applications.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of NetApp consulting best practices.

Requirements

  • Significant hands-on field experience as a technology consultant.
  • Experience deploying post-sales On-prem, Hybrid, and Cloud storage solutions.
  • Solid foundation in NetApp technologies, IT infrastructure, applications, and Cloud services.
  • Experience in deploying and administering NetApp Storage solutions, including Storage GRID and E-Series.
  • Proficient understanding of NetApp Storage concepts and management tools.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages like PowerShell and Python.
  • Familiarity with public cloud concepts and architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of storage protocols and technologies (CIFS, NFS, S3, iSCSI, Fibre Channel).
  • Experience with monitoring platforms, WANs, SANs, and disaster recovery platforms.
  • Strong customer communication and documentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with container orchestration (K8S and OpenShift).
  • Knowledge of Cisco/Brocade Director Class SAN Switch.
