You’re confident leading customer workshops, challenging assumptions when needed, and owning migrations end-to-end, from design and cutover through stabilization and clean handoff. You thrive in complex environments, value documentation discipline, and operate as a trusted technical advisor who balances architectural integrity with practical execution.

Requirements

  • Experience. Deep technical expertise in Microsoft Teams Phone, Direct Routing, SBCs, voice routing, and UC architecture, with the ability to design and troubleshoot complex enterprise environments.
  • Leadership. Proven migration expertise, including owning cutovers, stabilizing post-go-live environments, and executing clean transitions to ongoing support teams.
  • Communication. Both written and verbal- English mandatory, French an asset. Strong documentation and operational discipline, track record of producing clear design artifacts, runbooks, and as-builts that enable long-term service success. Executive-level communication skills, lead workshops, partner cross-functionally, challenge assumptions and build trust with technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical integrity, architecture, and detailed design of assigned delivery projects.
  • Lead design workshops and translate business requirements into routing logic, policy design, SBC configurations, and licensing decisions.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact, building trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and constructively challenging misaligned assumptions.
  • Maintain deep expertise in Microsoft Teams Phone, Direct Routing, SBCs, and ZIRO platform solutions, keeping certifications current.
  • Identify optimization or expansion opportunities and review complex designs with the Technical Lead as needed.
  • Lead the technical execution of migrations, including runbook development, pilot waves, full-site/user migrations, and post-cutover stabilization.
  • Ensure a clean, well-documented transition to Managed Services.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation standards (workshop summaries, pre-cutover builds, as-builts) using ZIRO playbook templates.
  • Ensure documentation quality supports long-term service success and proper knowledge transfer.
  • Act as Tier 3 escalation for complex routing, SBC, and Teams issues.
  • Proactively escalate architectural risks, document root cause, and implement preventative improvements.
  • Partner closely with PM, Pre-Sales, and Managed Services to maintain scope discipline, technical alignment, and successful handoff.
  • Accurately track time and contribute to retrospectives and continuous improvement.
  • Lead effective use of ZIRO’s platform (ZP/ZPM), validate data integrity, and provide structured feedback to Product/Engineering to improve tooling and delivery processes.
