About The Position

Chetola Resort is seeking friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable AM and PM Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. We are hiring for both morning shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) and evening shifts (4:00 PM – 10:00 PM). As a Server, you will create a warm, welcoming dining experience for guests by providing exceptional service in a timely and professional manner. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, have a passion for hospitality, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prior experience as a server in a full-service restaurant or resort setting is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and a guest-first mindset
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
  • Availability to work either AM or PM shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years old (to serve alcoholic beverages)
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic food safety standards is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and answering questions about menu items and specials.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
  • Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs, providing refills, clearing used dishes, and addressing any concerns with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.
  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and side stations.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Uphold the Chetola Resort service standards and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
