About The Position

The Professional Relations Liaison at Tidewell Hospice is responsible for enhancing awareness and utilization of hospice services among healthcare referral sources. This role involves increasing referral and admission volumes to meet established goals, serving as a speaker in outreach activities, and educating various stakeholders about Tidewell's offerings. The liaison acts as a key connection between the hospice and the healthcare community, requiring strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years outreach, professional relations, and/or sales experience preferred.
• Medical marketing, hospice experience, or other healthcare field experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years clinical expertise in a related discipline (Clinical RN, LPN, or MSW license preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills, including public speaking experience.
• Reliable transportation and insurance, with willingness to travel throughout the county.
• Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn; familiarity with spreadsheet programs.

Responsibilities

• Increase referral and admission volume to meet established goals.
• Serve as a conduit between Tidewell Hospice and professional healthcare referral sources.
• Educate healthcare referral sources, community professionals, influencers, and consumers about Tidewell services through outreach activities.
• Navigate the healthcare environment to generate and convert referrals.
• Work independently while exercising discretion and independent judgment.
