About The Position
The Professional Practice Evaluation Coordinator at Wellstar is responsible for overseeing the medical staff Peer Review, Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE), and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) functions. This role ensures compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) Standards and WellStar Medical Staff Bylaws while managing the confidentiality of the peer review process and supporting performance improvement documentation. The Coordinator plays a crucial role in analyzing clinical events, maintaining physician quality documentation, and supporting hospital committees and leadership in quality improvement initiatives.
