About The Position
The Professional Practice Evaluation Coordinator at Cobb Hospital plays a crucial role in facilitating the medical staff's Peer Review, Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE), and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) functions. This position ensures compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) Standards and CMS Conditions of Participation while managing the confidentiality of the peer review process and supporting the Medical Staff Credentialing process. The Coordinator is also responsible for preparing physician quality documentation and supporting performance improvement projects.
