About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Professional Pet Groomer to join our team at Two Brothers Dog Wash in Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $25 to $30, along with the opportunity to earn a commission of over 50% on each grooming appointment. Our grooming facility prides itself on being cage and kennel-free, allowing us to focus on providing personalized care for each pet. We accommodate a variety of dog breeds and special needs cases, ensuring a comfortable and safe grooming experience for all animals. While grooming cats is a plus, it is not a requirement for this position. As a Professional Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for bathing, drying, and performing customer-specified grooms for a variety of dog breeds, as well as breed standard cuts if desired. You will also be expected to maintain your own grooming equipment and keep a clean work environment. Good communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with fellow team members and clients. We value flexibility and reliability, as our work environment can be dynamic and fast-paced. In addition to grooming duties, you will be responsible for scheduling grooming appointments over the phone and learning to operate the cash register to process payments for grooming services. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a team and has superior customer service skills.
