About The Position

Tutors support students to meet their academic goals. Tutors work day and evening hours in-person in the Tutoring Center, virtually through Zoom via our Virtual Tutoring Center in Canvas, or a hybrid of both virtual and in-person sessions. Tutors will work with students individually or in small groups, supporting QC students who need extra in completing academic coursework. All subjects needed, with highest need in mathematics and sciences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in content area required
• Master's Degree preferred
• Experience in teaching or tutoring in a multi-cultural environment a plus
• Advanced knowledge in their discipline of interest
• Commitment to helping students from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds
• Computer and internet access
• Comfortable working in a virtual environment
