We have an exciting opportunity for licensed experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with a passion for education to support the academic success of our nursing students. As a part-time tutor, you will play a vital role in preparing future nurses by offering academic guidance, mentorship, and support. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program required.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative academic team.

Nice To Haves

• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic tutoring and support to nursing students across various program formats.
• Be well-prepared academically to assist students in understanding nursing concepts and coursework.
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in education and student success.
• Be available during predetermined hours, including evenings and weekends, with flexibility during intensive academic periods.
• Collaborate effectively with faculty and staff to support student learning.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
