About The Position
The San Diego Nanny Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Mother's Helper/Nanny for a wonderful family located in Carmel Valley. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about childcare and has a strong background in working with infants. The family has a 2-month-old baby and requires assistance primarily in the mornings to afternoons, 2-4 days a week. The schedule is flexible, with specific hours needed on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and Saturdays from 12 PM to 4 PM. The pay for this position ranges from $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience. As a Mother's Helper/Nanny, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support both the baby and the mother. Your duties will include engaging in sensory play, arts and crafts, and helping the baby reach developmental milestones. You will also be involved in bottle feeding, changing diapers, and providing nurturing activities such as singing and reading to the baby. Additionally, you will assist the mother with various tasks, including meal preparation, baby laundry, light cleaning, and organizing the baby's crib area and toys. It is essential that you are reliable, mature, and professional, as you will be working closely with a stay-at-home mom who is present in the home during your shifts. Candidates must live within a 10-30 minute radius of Del Mar, as relocation is not an option. A valid driver's license with no DUI history is required, and background checks will be conducted along with reference checks.
