About The Position
Pauly's Movers, a fast-growing household moving company located in Rosedale, MD, is seeking dedicated and professional Movers/Drivers (Foreman) to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who are hardworking, self-motivated, and possess a positive attitude towards work. The role involves being part of a household relocation team, where you will be responsible for packing and unpacking furniture, loading and unloading trucks, and driving 26' box trucks for those in the driver/foreman role. We are looking for candidates who are located near Baltimore, Rosedale, Halethorpe, and surrounding areas, as this will facilitate easier commuting to job sites. As a Professional Mover/Driver, you will be expected to lead the moving crew on the job, distributing duties among team members while ensuring efficiency and safety throughout the moving process. High performance is expected, and you will be required to greet and communicate effectively with customers during the move. The job also entails wrapping furniture with protective materials, loading and unloading the truck either by hand or using a hand truck, and ensuring that items are padded, stacked, and secured properly in the truck. You will need to have a good understanding of how to form a compact load and ensure even weight distribution to transport items without damage. Additionally, you will be responsible for calculating and presenting the total move bill to the customer and collecting payment at the end of the service.
