About The Position

Boone Supported Living is seeking Professional Managers to oversee ISL homes in Columbia. This is a working supervisor position, meaning you will actively work alongside your team while leading with excellence. We are looking for someone who not only meets the standard qualifications but also brings specialized experience in medical care and mental health support. The individual in this home is highly independent and works as a social worker, so the right candidate must uphold a high standard of care and demonstrate skill in helping individuals maintain emotional regulation.

Requirements

• Management experience and experience with the MR/DD population.
• Strong background in medical care and mental health support.
• Ability to train, coach, and evaluate employees effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• A caring, reliable professional who can think on their feet and manage crises calmly.
• Bachelor's degree in business or human services (or equivalent management experience).
• 1 year of management experience.
• 1 year working with individuals with IDD.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks and maintain required certifications (CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration).
• Must be able to pass Family Care Safety Registry and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Serve as the primary member of the habilitation team.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Monitor and support emotional and behavioral regulation.
• Maintain inspection-ready homes and ensure adequate supplies.
• Participate in crisis management and on-call duties.
