As the Professional Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our home care services, ensuring that clients receive exceptional care. You will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating care plans, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

  • College degree in business or human services (can be substituted with at least 4 years experience in the field)
  • 1-year management experience
  • 1-year experience working with individuals with IDD
  • Obtain and maintain current certifications for the DSP position.
  • Must be able to pass Family Care Safety Registry and criminal background check

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Demonstrate and continuously teach BSL's Core Values to your team. Be the expert at service monitoring and other state inspections. Study and ask questions. Be the expert at your individual's ISPs, medical and behavioral needs, and stakeholder dynamics. Be the expert at your DSPs performance levels and issues that could affect those levels. COMMUNICATE!
  • Client Care Coordination: Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Finance: Ensure DSPs provide receipts for all purchases showing on PS bank accounts
  • Ensure there are receipts for all purchases on credit card
  • Ensure receipts are correctly labeled and submitted to Finance by deadlines.
  • Keep PS accounts in the black but under a $200 balance.
  • Ensure no more than $99 is spent out of PS accounts in any given day without prior written approval from ____.
  • Ensure NAFS funds are spent under specific instruction from Finance and receipts are submitted to them.
  • Weekly, hold team members accountable for commitments not fulfilled and unexcused absences.bers accountable for commitments not fulfilled and unexcused absences.
  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care and satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving: Address client concerns and caregiver issues promptly, ensuring a high level of service continuity.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage budgets, schedules, and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Community Outreach: Build relationships with local healthcare providers and community organizations to enhance service offerings and referral networks.
