About The Position

At Boone Supported Living, we support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living full, independent lives in their own homes and communities. Our staff build real relationships with the people we support, creating environments where individuals can thrive. The Professional Manager leads a supported living home and the team that makes independence possible for the individual served. This role combines leadership, advocacy, and coordination. You will guide staff, support individuals in achieving their goals, and ensure services meet state standards and agency expectations. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Services, or related field (or 4+ years relevant experience)
• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience
• At least 1 year working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Ability to obtain and maintain Direct Support Professional certification
• Must be able to pass Family Care Safety Registry and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
• Model and teach BSL's core values
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback and support
• Address attendance, accountability, and performance issues
• Understand and implement the individual's ISP, medical, and behavioral plans
• Coordinate services with families, guardians, and healthcare providers
• Ensure individuals receive consistent, person-centered care
• Ensure services meet state regulations and agency standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Prepare for and participate in service monitoring and inspections
• Maintain strong communication with staff, families, and leadership
• Address concerns proactively and ensure continuity of care
• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and household operations
• Ensure financial documentation and purchasing procedures are followed
