Requirements

• Active attorney license with at least 5 years of professional liability experience.
• Prior experience adjusting Professional Liability and Error & Omission Claims.
• Experience with Legal Malpractice preferred.
• Active Adjuster license is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and computer skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Conducting office investigations and adjusting Professional liability and Error & Omission claims.
• Investigating losses and identifying coverage issues.
• Obtaining and reviewing evidence, reports, and medical records.
• Establishing damages and reserves.
• Processing payments.
• Taking statements from insured's, claimants, and witnesses.
• Participating in Mediations.
