The Position: The Professional Land Surveyor will perform a wide range of land surveying functions on projects throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Interacting with clients and co-workers to determine surveying scope of services to develop a proposal. Researching public records to determine existing property boundaries, easements and other property related land surveying information. Perform a wide range of land surveys including boundary, topographical and utility surveys and construction surveying. Prepare land division instruments and survey basemaps using AutoCAD Civil3D. Direct and review construction staking setup activities. Coordinate land survey requirements (tasks, duties, budgets, schedules, etc.) with internal team members and provide assistance to complete required tasks. Mentor survey field staff to ensure best practices are followed.

Requirements

• Professional Land Surveyors License with ability to obtain a license in Wisconsin, Michigan or Illinois after being hired.
• 3+ years of prior experience as a land surveying crew chief.
• Land division and boundary resolution experience.
• Must be a reliable, efficient self-starter with initiative and a sense of responsibility.
• Strong communication and time-management skills are required.
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• Position is located in either Greenville, WI or Waukesha, WI, with frequent travel anticipated (minimal overnight stays).
