About The Position

A professional housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of residential homes. It includes deep cleaning and routine tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and ensuring a clean, neat and organized environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read the English language.
• Valid NYS Driver's License that meets agency requirements, and reliable transportation required.
• One-year experience in professional house keeping in domestic or commercial setting required.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough cleaning of each assigned home.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, including corners and edges.
• Clean and disinfect each room, following assigned checklist.
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
• Ensure all rooms are clean and inspected according to written standards.
• Ensure all standards are maintained with integrity and attention to detail.
• Notify managers of homes and supervisor of any damages or needs for maintenance.
• Deep cleaning as assigned.
• Meticulous cleaning of all bathrooms and kitchens.
• Straighten bedrooms as assigned.
