Professional Engineer – Transportation Location: Kennewick, WA Position Overview: J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking to hire an experienced Project Manager to join our Transportation Services Group (TSG) and work in our successful Kennewick, Washington office. This role reports to the Project Delivery Team Lead (Northwest) within the Transportation Services Group (TSG) and will support transportation projects from concept through construction while mentoring a team of EITs. The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Professional Engineer license, with ability to become licensed in WA, OR, and ID.
  • 8–20 years of progressive transportation engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and deliverables.
  • Strong collaborative, communication, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support and mentor transportation engineering staff in the Kennewick office and across the TSG.
  • Lead delivery of local, state, private, and federally funded transportation projects.
  • Conduct quality control and assurance for engineering deliverables.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for transportation group operations.
  • Provide technical guidance on a wide range of traffic and transportation projects.
  • Mentor EITs and project engineers.
  • Manage workloads and identify resource needs.
  • Collaborate with design engineers across multiple offices.
  • Support business development efforts under the direction of local project managers.
