The primary purpose of this position is to develop, implement, manage, evaluate, and coordinate professional development training opportunities and events for Head Start staff, the governing board, Head Start Policy Council members, and parents. The role involves utilizing a training system that supports continuous learning and meets all training requirements prescribed in the Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS) and other federal, state, and local guidelines.
