About The Position

Work with assigned Senior Professional Customer Analyst and the Professional Customer Pricing Manager in support of their responsibilities. Gather competitive discount/pricing examples, evaluate and present findings to establish recommendations on setting professional customer specific pricing, and evaluate strategies to maximize gross profit. Set up, maintain, and evaluate any special pricing, including flexes, deals, & exceptions. Research opportunities to maximize company profitability. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Compare Pricing and opportunities to improve company gross profit. Apply flexes/deals to professional accounts based off of competitive justification. Load, maintain and review customer level pricing in pricing systems. Communicate results and recommendations of price related projects to applicable field or corporate office management. Assign pricing structures via customer type or segment, to accounts through new store loads. Load, maintain, and review professional pricing through market specific or national price shops. Evaluate and maintain Strategic Pricing initiatives, including pricing for national/regional account groups. Field management reporting – develop, execute, present for review, and distribute reports on pricing segmentations and other areas concerning professional price. Interchange and complete electronically submitted Competitive Price Comparisons. Update TeamNet tools for field including shop information, item rank reporting, etc. Review bulk order requests for profitability and provide insight to department/field teams. Maintain updates to product interchange reports. Review, modify and respond to the field regarding account type changes submitted electronically. Maintain Pro Pricing e-mail box as pertains to all professional pricing requests. Load pricing to new accounts. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with research and data analysis
  • Solid mathematical skills
  • Ability to manage workload and meet frequent deadlines
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Overnight travel may be required for training

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive knowledge of automotive aftermarket and competitors
  • Advanced skill set using Excel & SQL to perform queries and build comparisons
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
  • General automotive parts knowledge and aftermarket experience
  • Committed to any additional training as necessary
