About The Position

Production Workflow — The primary duty of Production Workflow Person is to work with material handlers to keep workstations stocked with the required materials and supplies (Kanban), ensure production lines are produced based on the schedule, and communicate to Supervisor and DISPO of any issues.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand on concrete for entirety of shift
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop and walk the production floor
  • Ability to pick up and move products
  • Heavy lifting (50lbs. To 70lbs.)
  • Flexibility to work overtime as requested
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to focus on relevant work for entirety of shift
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Communicate efficiently with other departments
  • Material Replenishment: This includes the transportation and replacement of goods as needed.
  • Waste Removal: Ensuring a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Kanban Management: Maintain a visual management system that supports the efficient flow of work through various stages.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure smooth handoff and product flow.
  • Assist with assembly tasks as needed.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines when assembling components or products.
  • 6S Methodology.
  • Use hand tools and basic equipment as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
