About The Position

Make the plan. Keep it moving. Help orchestrate production by translating demand into a clear, time-sequenced plan and aligning materials and operations to meet targets. What you’ll do Use a computerized scheduling system to create and manage sequential work schedules. Build a master schedule that defines the sequence and duration of each operation to hit completion goals. Plan and schedule departmental workflows in line with established operation sequences. Maintain and continuously improve the scheduling program for accuracy and efficiency. Partner with managers/supervisors to track status; interface closely with Purchasing, Receiving, Logistics, and Accounting. Identify and expedite schedule delays; re-baseline plans to address unforeseen issues. Compile department performance data and metrics. Ensure practices align with ISO requirements. As needed: maintain Standards/Processes manuals; manage inventory with weekly health checks (turns and related metrics); prepare material/tool/equipment lists; generate purchase orders.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school and three years of experience; or equivalent education/experience.

  • Vision: close and color vision used regularly.
  • Environment: occasional outdoor exposure and risk of electrical shock.
  • Factory setting that is usually very loud, with possible exposure to hazardous materials and greasy or slippery floors.
