About The Position
Mancan is assisting a thriving manufacturing company in Akron, Ohio, in their search for dedicated Production Associates to join their team. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $18 per hour and is structured around a Monday through Thursday schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with opportunities for overtime on Fridays and Saturdays from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The role primarily involves repacking and small bagging of materials, as well as general production work. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and may be required to operate a Henschel Mixer as part of their duties. Forklift operation is also a component of this position, necessitating a valid driver's license with no more than two points on the record. In addition to the physical demands, candidates must maintain a clean-shaven appearance and be willing to wear a respirator mask when necessary. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with the ability to pass a National Background Check and Drug Screening.
