About The Position
The Production Worker performs all general production activities involved in the manufacturing process.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions in the English language.
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies.
- Must demonstrate basic math skills to calculate production yields and understand weights and measures.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Previous related experience in food and/or manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
- Following established production standards, performs all functions of the manufacturing process.
- Inspect all equipment to assure proper operation and safety.
- Follow operational procedures and complete required paperwork.
- Ensure accurate counts and weights on production are recorded.
- Report any non-compliant, defective, or substandard product.
- Assist with clean-up and sanitation responsibilities.
- Assist in any other areas of the manufacturing plant when necessary.
- Assist Production Leader in training new employees for job specific tasks in the production area.
