Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Proven experience as a Production Worker, or similar role, is advantageous.
Basic mathematical and measuring skills to perform calculations.
Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Demonstrated commitment to adhere to safety regulations and health guidelines.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.
Physical stamina and strength for lifting and moving heavy objects, if required.
Basic computer skills for record keeping and data entry tasks.
Willingness to work overtime, and weekends as needed.
Ability to consistently meet productivity goals and quotas.
Participation in continuous training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

Assist with the operation of production machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Monitor the production process and report issues or inconsistencies, if any.
Inspect and examine manufactured products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Read and interpret production schedules and work orders as required.
Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties for production machines and equipment.
Execute daily tasks such as packing, shipping, sorting, and inventory control.
Work closely with team members to meet production goals within set timelines.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, emphasizing safety regulations.
Input data into computer systems, logging hours worked on different tasks.
Follow all product protocols ensuring the highest standard of quality and efficiency.
Actively participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities, demonstrating commitment to teamwork.
Participate in training sessions to boost productivity and performance levels.
Contribute to the updating and reinforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Assist in the set-up and pre-production stages of the manufacturing process.
Ensure correct use of all personal protective equipment and safety devices.
