PURPOSE To manufacture, transformers, coils, and inductors according to Customer specifications and Renco standards.

Requirements

• Two years’ assembly experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and those related to the position
• Ability to speak fluently with customers, managers, and fellow employees
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction when furnished in written, oral, and diagram form
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Renco Electronics, Inc. requires all employees be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. as a requirement for employment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
• The employee is required to sit for extended periods of time using a computer, telephone, or other administrative tools.

Responsibilities

• Wind wire with the appropriate number of turns according to customer specifications
• Apply flux to solder points as per manufacturing instructions
• Solder pins/leads in solder pot per Renco manufacturing procedures by dipping/dragging the pins into the solder pots
• Assemble transformer according to manufacturing instructions
• Test transformer for conformance
• Follows policies and procedures utilized by the Company and Department to ensure the efficient running of the department and customer satisfaction
• Other duties as assigned
