About The Position

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Production Worker - 3rd Shift in Highland, IL facility! The core hours are 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, Sunday-Thursday. The rate for this position is $19.66 per hour plus a $.50 per hour shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The Production Worker is responsible for work in all departments of the manufacturing plant - Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, Layout - doing various labor jobs. Some departments are more physically demanding, however, the general laborer should be capable of handling the work in all departments daily. In this function, you will: Occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and climb heights, but never crawl. They will frequently crouch kneel, balance, and frequently reach above the shoulder level and frequently push and pull. Frequently carry up to 10 to 34 pounds and a little less frequently 35-50 pounds with or without accommodation Do repetitive action of simple grasping, and firm grasping is required, however fine manipulating is not used. You also will not be required to operate any equipment that is operated by a foot pedal. Work around moving machinery but not be required to operate it. There is NO work at unprotected heights and the only temperature change is created by the opening of a dock door.

Requirements

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates who currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius)of Highland, IL will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographic area limitation.
